Proposals should include a curatorial statement with a description of the exhibition and the concept behind it. In addition, curators should include a list of potential artists to be included in the exhibit, along with images of the listed artists' work. If new work will be created for the exhibition, curators can send images of artists' past work. A gallery floorplan is available for download
here.

There will be a public reception, press release, announcement cards, email blasts, online gallery, and other publicity for each exhibit. In addition to the exhibit, curators are invited to work with Pterodactyl in coordinating events related to the show, occurring thoughout the duration of the exhibit. Although unpaid, curators will benefit from being credited and receiving coverage on the pterodactyl website. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot cover shipping costs for artists' work.
Proposals are accepted ongoingly. Because of this there are no notification deadlines. If your proposal is accepted, we will notify you at least two months before the date of the show, in order to give you time to coordinate the exhibit.
